Truly, Madly, Deeply

Into Your Dreams!

It is not just your waking dreams but your sleeping dreams as well that are there to guide you through the deluge of daily thoughts and challenges and into your hearts greatest desires.  Pay attention!  They are not insignificant, we think and dream to work through life’s twists and turns but your dreams can also lead you to what you may be ignoring or missing.  Life’s lessons come not only in your daily life but also within your dreams, especially because when you are at rest you are more open to accepting greater insight.  Even the dreams that might not always make sense contain signs and messages whether it is related to love, change or a decision you may be struggling with or asking questions about.

There is always an element of significance in the representations used in your dreams whether that is a person, animal, event or combination altogether.  The meanings and messages will be different for everyone and it’s just a matter of developing your own catalogue of symbolism and how it relates to you.  When you start to connect things in this way I think you will find many parallels will begin to open up and occur in your daily interactions, the Universe has much to show you.

Your dreams come from your heart and soul and quietly blend with the subconscious part of you that you may not always give an open voice to.  Fight for your dreams, take bold action and go in the direction they are guiding you toward.  They serve to remind you that you are a free spirit with boundless opportunities available all you need do is ask, believe and you will receive.

Have you ever felt that your dream seemed so vivid and clear that when you awoke the energy still lingered strongly around you?  We can dream visit with others, definitely with spirit and loved ones lost but I also believe we can connect with people in physical existence now.  We are all connected in so many ways, through mind and thought, life and experiences but also with those we haven’t yet met.

I have had dreams that include people I know and people I don’t know and not all of them lead me to life’s greatest answers but some do challenge me to dig a little deeper into my well of creativity.  Not every dream is a hoax or fantasy and they can contain answers for you to discover, I don’t think it’s too far a stretch from what your heart may know but your mind may be guarding.

I think it’s time for you to take your dreams both waking and sleeping more seriously and allow the messages to guide you towards your best life.  Let your inner voice and imagination speak through your dreams, your inner spirit only wants you to let your beautiful energy shine.

Your imagination is where the uninhibited, unbiased glory of your being resides and you should definitely let that part of yourself out to play often.

  • What if you allowed yourself to embrace your sleeping dreams?
  • What if you opened your awareness and allowed the Universe to guide you?
  • What if you started to believe in those dreams and the Law of Attraction provided you with signs and synchronicities to support them?

Would it be so bad to let yourself flourish without judgement just embracing the peace and happiness as a soul in a state of grace and contentment?

Doesn’t seem like there is a downside to this experiment to me except that you might experience some uninhibited happiness, freedom, joy and the very possibility of stepping into those dreams for real.

The Seeds of Greatness!

Are at the Core of your Spirit

Peeling back the layers of life that have caused your spirit to be cloaked by any negative emotion as a result of your experiences is what allows your true essence to shine!

Where was I Then?

Your youth is where it all begins, where patterns, habits and learned behaviours are formed. You are meant to learn and grow from your experiences not be crippled by them. If your environment doesn’t contain any sort of positive aspects then your outlook of possibilities may be diminished. Your role models are the biggest influences in creating your view on the world, how they model their ability to deal with life experiences is very influential and will either be motivational or damaging. Some behaviours pass through more than one generation and are viewed as “normal” because that is all you know, especially when you are young. It is only when you start to develop into your own independence that you become aware of the inconsistencies. Most times you seek out those that fit the same behavioural pattern that is so familiar and I think eventually you either break away from it or fall into the same mold because it is too far outside of your comfort zone.

I think the biggest and most crippling aspect of this is that you can end up going through many life experiences without really experiencing them because the pattern is so ingrained that you run on auto-pilot and never realize that there is more to your life than just the day to day run of existence.

Where am I Now?

Asking yourself the big questions that are beginning to resonate in your soul are both important and necessary. If it matters to you, it matters! If you’re feeling like there’s something more that you want to reach for or experience within your life there is never a time when it is too late. All change or transformation begins with a first step – the decision. The decision, which doesn’t sound like a huge step, actually is but following through is even bigger. Once you’ve taken those very critical two first steps you start to fall back in alignment with the Universe (I call it being in the Zone, athletes will totally know what I mean) and the Universe only works to create what is meant for you.

Believe me, we are all meant to experience life positively, it is when we fall out of alignment that things start to go sideways.

Where will I Go?dr suess quote #3

Once you’ve taken on a more positive outlook and continue to search or have found your new path the places you can go become infinite possibilities! Listen to Dr. Suess, it’s not just meant for children!

I strive to inspire, motivate and cultivate all things positive and continue to seek deeper awareness and understanding. Every day I learn, every day I come across new meaning to parts of life I didn’t realize existed and every day I am enlightened, humbled and impressed!

Don’t let negative life experiences prevent you from living the life you are meant for or deserve. Make the decision that “it stops here!” and immediately change direction, you can do anything you set your mind to!

At your core you’re all things pure and good and when you realize the amount of strength you and all of us have been given, success and happiness is just a short period of time away and all it takes for you to get there from here is your decision to do it.

Make the change that changes your life!

Spring Cleaning in the Fall

A Necessary Form of Healing

There comes a time when you need to clean out the areas of your brain where the stuck tape keeps playing, the tape that keeps you in a perpetual cycle that is out of sync with the Law of Attraction.  As of late my life has been extremely busy and demanding which has caused me to deplete my own levels of tolerance and patience.  When those two areas of my life run low it reduces my ability to fend off the negativity virus.

The negativity virus comes in many forms, not just thoughts but also actions which cause reactions and consequences and even though I know I’ve pushed the boundaries at times, I’ve learned that honest communication and sincere humility can be the positive aspect in changing the direction of that outcome.

I find that when I get in those funks it heightens my desire to “help others see the light”, which in hindsight becomes ridiculous.  I have no right to do that and even though I’ve learned to recognize when those areas are depleted there are times when I don’t catch it quickly enough and that causes me even more inner frustration and that frustration only perpetuates the virus.  I’ve just now realized that I’ve depleted myself and recognized that I’m at the beginning of that path and it’s time to stop!

I call it a negativity virus because it feels like a virus, like the flu it makes you feel like you aren’t yourself, cranky and out of sorts and your immune system is lowered which is the opening negativity needs to get in.

Unfortunately I have really high expectations for myself and falling onto that path, no matter what the reason, just won’t do.  It’s not so much that I feel I’ve failed, I don’t view things as failures but rather opportunities to make adjustments to my liking.  My attitude is very much determined and focused, I know where I want to go and usually I want to get there now!  Needless to say patience and tolerance weren’t my strongest suits when I was younger and over the years I’ve learned to develop them but they are usually the first things to go when the tank starts to run on empty.

people don't forget how you made them feel

I think we all have our moments of weakness and how we handle them or rather correct them is what defines us.  The most important thing that I’ve always been conscious of is to “think before I speak”, some things can’t be unsaid and they are usually the most damaging ones that you want to take back.  Now at the same time I do believe that honesty and sincerity are absolutely essential if you are trying to rectify that kind of accidental communication.

I won’t say I’ve never said something I’ve regretted and at the time I’m quite sure I had the momentary satisfaction of blurting something out but the key word is momentary.  The period of regret for that moment was much longer and the best teacher for learning to “think before I speak”.

So how do I reinstate my levels of tolerance and patience?

Awareness and recognition is the first step, honest reflection is the second step and whatever process it takes for me to recharge my batteries is the third step.

I find that once I’ve become aware and recognized I’m depleted it propels me into the honest reflection stage and rejuvenation usually falls into place shortly after.  The way to deal is different for everyone, whatever works for you to make you feel better is what you should do, especially if you just aren’t feeling like yourself.  If it means you take a “time out” for yourself than that’s what you should do because it’s not fair to you or anyone in your life to deplete yourself.

So for me, I’ll be writing because that is my best outlet for recharging myself and getting my levels of tolerance and patience back where they should be.  I definitely don’t like feeling out of sorts, it doesn’t fit right or feel good and if I’m not operating on the right side of the Law of Attraction then I’m depriving myself of the gifts that accompany positive experiences.
