You Want Something?

Then Go Get It!

In order to get something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done!  If there is something you want in life just wishing it was so isn’t enough.  You have to take action and do the work to attain it no matter how daunting things may seem at times.  Keep the faith, it’s usually the moment you decide to give up is right before the moment your dreams are to become a reality.

I know at times getting knocked down can be really discouraging but those are the times when you are truly being tested.  It is the time when your determination must be greater than your doubt, your passion too strong to allow for any other outcome.  Anything worth having, anything placed in your soul and your heart is worth fighting for even in the face of challenge.

Encouragement or discouragement can be the breaking point if you let it especially when time and patience are a requirement for your dream.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you what is not possible for you!  If you have a goal, a dream and you feel that when you share it with others they try to derail your plans and say it’s impossible then the solution is simple, only share your dreams with those who love and support your vision.  You need people around who motivate you not to give up, who remind you that you can do it, who dive into your vision with you and experience the glory of imagination and dream.

It doesn’t matter if you or anyone else may think on some level of “reality” that what you want is a pipe dream because I can assure you nothing is impossible for you!  The only time it becomes impossible is when you start to believe the naysayers, when you let the seeds of doubt creep in.  As long as you have passion to chase it with everything in you then impossible turns into I’m possible.

The world has become abundant with “instant gratification” in so many ways which has both good and bad sides to it.  I guess the upside is that you get something you want right away and you don’t have to wait but then how much do you value it, does it become a prized possession?  Likely not because prized possessions are usually something that you put blood, sweat and tears into which is why you cherish them.

So then the downside would be that you don’t appreciate what you’ve attained because it was too easy to get.  When you really have to work hard and wait for a dream to manifest you have no choice but to build your patience, for those of you that struggle with patience, like me, that is a task in itself.  When you do start to see things come to fruition it builds so much more; self-worth, self-esteem, pride, confidence, belief in yourself, inner strength and the list goes on.

When you’ve reached a goal or dream you tend to want to hold onto it more and not let it go, not gripping too tightly but in a treasured kind of way.  It becomes your personal badge of honor on your soul, not for others to be impressed by you but for you to feel proud of the commitment you nurtured into your reality.

If you feel there is something more you desire and you want more passion and purpose in your life start with where your heart goes when you let your mind wander.  The solutions lie within the stillness of your mind, in the quiet moments you hear the answers to your most pertinent questions.  You were not born to live a mediocre life, you are destined to live your best life!

Find your passion and it will lead you to your purpose!

Follow Your Vision

What You See Is What You Get!

What you think about most is what you are embracing and implanting into your subconscious and conscious mind whether you realize it or not. The key to cultivating positive experiences in your life is to begin cultivating them with your thoughts.

Your self-talk is important, you must first believe in yourself, you must have faith that the Universe has a plan for you and then allow that plan to manifest knowing it is for the betterment of your higher self.

follow your dreams

Having a clear vision of what you expect to see manifest in your life is the ace in your pocket. My vision has always been clear to me, sure there are some alterations along the way that change the course at times but I never get so far off that I lose sight of my vision. There are times when my vision changes in perspective, sometimes life’s joys and/or upsets change the view but I believe that these changes are meant to be, they are meant to shape you so you fit into the Universe’s plan for you.

What you See is What You Get:  I think it is important to really allow this thought to sink in.

You can tell yourself what you want to see but if you really don’t believe it yourself then you can forget about seeing it manifest in your life. It’s not just about saying the words, it’s about taking the actions making what you see start to take a form. You must know that feeling when you begin taking action of any task, you start to see it take shape and before you know it you’re half way to completion. That feeling is inspiration, followed by momentum to see it through and what follows are the rewards of success for your accomplishment. This is the format that exists in everything, it is purely passion, passion to move in desired direction, passion to power through the rough patches, passion to pursue that which you know you can attain and passion to succeed. You must know you that you can do anything you put your heart and mind into.

Sometimes getting to the other side of success can feel overwhelming, sometimes enough to make you question your abilities and/or goals:

  • What do I do now?
  • How do I maintain?
  • Have I reached my potential?

Here’s what you do:

  • Enjoy it
  • Relax a little
  • Marinate the next ideas of change you desire

There’s always another mountain to climb, there’s always another challenge ahead and there is never a dull moment because inspiration is always available. Don’t paint yourself into a corner and say there’s no way out, there is always a way out, you will find your best answers within your imagination.

Imagination is not just for kids, the only reason kids access is more is because they aren’t jaded, they are uninhibited and unwilling to accept that there is something they can’t do or try.

I think a lot of us limit our vision because life itself seen through the eyes of negativity is clouded but when you change that view and realize that there are no limits I think you would be amazed at what you can accomplish!

I Imagine!

Manifesting Your Future

You have to start somewhere, and your imagination is full of all the ideas you really want but may believe aren’t available to you, but they are!

Don’t cut your ideas off simply because you feel they aren’t options, honestly if they are imagined ideas then they aren’t currently happening, right? So what’s the worst that can happen if you entertain those ideas, they don’t occur? So then you’re still right where you are, but…….what if they do happen? How great would that be? There is not a downside as far as I see and you just might get what you want.

So what would you imagine? I know when I imagine things I want to see manifest in my life they are never limited and always seem like a magical gift. I think that you need to have big ideas and big dreams because when you are in your imagination you are allowing your highest self the chance to have a voice. With all that life has going on for each of you through difficulty or success that often quells the voice of your highest self, especially during the more challenging times. I believe that happens not because you aren’t honoring or loving yourself but because some experiences take more of you with them. All experiences change you, either for the better or the worse, they may place you in a holding pattern until you decide which of those paths to take.

If you were back in the days of childhood what would your inner voice say then? What would you imagine? As kids we have all sorts of dreams, imaginations that have no limits and just because you’ve aged doesn’t mean that the opportunities are lost. Why not allow that inner child of yours to have a little input in your adult mind, just for a few moments. Try it!

I Imagine! What’s there in your thoughts of imagination? I can tell you there are many things I’ve imagined to occur that I’ve written down and forgotten. I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning out as of late and come across a few of them, only to realize that most of them (if not all) have been fulfilled. I’ve found that while it’s great to have a focus, a determination of all that you want to see manifest in your life and keep it in your thoughts consistently. It’s also important to put it out into the Universe like a balloon sailing in the sky, it’s important to let it go and gain its own momentum and life force. It’s not that I’ve forgotten these parts of my imagination but I put it out there, let it go and lived my life going in the direction of that life force and the Universe responded, not because I was especially deserving but because I did the work, I believed and I let it go. Everything will happen as it’s supposed to and when it’s supposed to but you need to trust in it and have faith.

Try it out, allow your imagination the opportunity to have a voice, write down the things you want to see happen in your life, the most important thing to be aware of is that anything of negative intention will NEVER manifest the way you want. Anything in your imagination comes from a place of light and positivity, anything negative comes from the ego, not your imagination.

If you want to see something positive manifest from your imagination, it needs to come from a place of good intention, intention that brings only positive outward effects to all those around you. Believe in it, let it go and trust that it will gain its own life force and that the Universe will fulfill it in your life!

Sometimes You Have to Travel a Long Road

To Go a Short Distance!

It doesn’t matter what others do, it matters what you do!

Every occurrence, circumstance or event happens for a reason and usually that reason is connected to our own higher learning. I’ve thought in the past that when someone treated me in a way that was either manipulative, disrespectful or both that they deserved eternal condemnation but that’s not for me to decide. The Universe will handle it appropriately and in the right time, I need to trust in that, step back and draw some better boundaries to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We teach others how to treat us and honestly I’ve been a little too lax in my teachings in the past. I’ve often thought that the way I treated someone would be teaching enough as to how I also wanted to be treated but their intention in life may not be in alignment with mine. Learning how to decipher their intention and find only those that are in alignment with my intention is the lesson I am still fine-tuning.

I’ve always been someone that is super motivated to get to the next level so I can find out what the level after that is and so forth. I’ve come across people who live in a negative energy but have learned how to display passion that they also want to get to the next level but the truth of it is that if they wanted to get to the next level they would be doing something, anything, to be trying to get there and the lack that seems to be stalling them in place is really their own will or desire. The issue for them is that they have become content, familiar and/or addicted to their story because it serves as a great example/reason for the obstacles that prevent them from moving forward. The problem that will continue to plague them is that they are living in a negative mindset or point of view and that prevents the Universe from bringing the positive light in so the life that they secretly hope for but believe they don’t deserve can manifest.

live your truth

Imagine if you were meant for great things, which I believe we all are, we aren’t here to suffer, we are here to build and grow our souls so they can flourish but that can’t happen if a wall of negativity is blocking it from getting through. The biggest hurdle to letting all the good things get in is tearing down that wall and embracing that which makes you feel vulnerable or scared. Every time a monumental moment occurs hesitation is always there and rightly so, all monumental moments are the cusp of some impending change that will likely alter you in every area of life, which is why they are so scary and why we hesitate. Taking a leap of faith into unknown and unfamiliar territory is unnerving to say the least but every time I’ve ever done it I’ve never been disappointed, not even once! Even if it hasn’t led me to where I thought I was going, it has led me to something better.

It may seem easier, less scary, to keep yourself safely behind the protective armor of a negative mindset because at least you’re familiar with it, no one can hurt you there because you are already in defensive/protective mode but no good can get in either. So what you block out that hurts also prevents that which is good from getting through, I ask you, what’s more hurtful?

Even though the bad stuff feels rough, hurts and sometimes feels too overwhelming to overcome, it still comes with its gifts. That which does not kill me, only makes me stronger!

The more of the tough experiences you go through the stronger you get, the more resilient you get, the more capable you are of reaching for what you want and succeeding and when you combine that with embracing all things positive you more than double the power you’ve already gained from your experiences.

Sometimes you have to travel a long road to go a short distance. Imagine what you can do when you realize how powerful you already are!
