In or Out of the Zone

Operating within the Law of Attraction

I’ve found this week to be quite enlightening and it’s given me a heightened sense and understanding of the Law of Attraction.  I found that last week I was a little off simply because I allowed certain situations to become something I stressed about.  By keeping myself in this area I was not operating within the core of the Law of Attraction.

To clarify what I’m trying to get across I’m going to use this analogy – Imagine that there is a huge party going on inside an arena and you can see everyone in there having a great time and they are all radiating positive, exuberant energy.  You want to be in there but you just don’t have that same positive energy and exuberance going on because you are allowing someone or something to inhibit that positivity from flowing (you’re in a bad mood) so instead you are on the outside looking in.  It’s not because you don’t want to be in there but you’re not open to absorbing or contributing to the positive energy in the center.  Negativity cannot stand or survive within a positive environment, it repels from it, that is why there are certain people we are drawn to and certain we avoid.

The Law of Attraction is a positive state of being, but picture it as a huge vibrational ball of energy and at the core is where everyone who is “in the zone” is hanging out, experiencing life positively and outwardly projecting all that their inner spirit has to offer.  When you are truly being yourself, no pretense, you will find that even though this is the easiest thing to do, it’s also the most natural and naturalness flows effortlessly.  It’s that naturalness that is most in tune with your higher self and inner spirit and it’s through that that you will find your higher calling and purpose and of course most gratifying life.

I noticed that when I turned things around (flipped that switch) and stepped back into the zone that everything picked up immediately, and I do mean immediately.  The universe knows when we are in and out of sync with ourselves and attracts accordingly.  Even though I thought I had a great read on myself, what I needed to do, and how in control I thought I was, I discovered this week that my thoughts (no matter how small) play an extremely prominent role in my daily reality.  I already knew this but I had not realized that even the miniscule thoughts and ideas played a part in taking me entirely “out of the zone”.

Out of the Law of Attraction, out of my positive state of being, out of the zone!

The strongest asset I  have on my side is my awareness and having that awareness heightened to recognize the most minute detail having an effect on my daily life will definitely change how determined I will be in the future to prevent it from taking me out of the zone.  Every little piece of our psyche counts in contributing to our overall sense of being and learning to recognize and redirect it to the positive will provide a more fulfilling daily life.

I have attached a very powerful You Tube video featuring Esther Hicks and it’s the video that helped to bring me into the zone and one I watch when I feel out of sync.  Being in a state of appreciation can really bring you back into the zone by showing you the greater importance in life.

Sorry all, it’s 7 ½ minutes long but if you have the time it’s well worth it, as are all of the videos put out by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

My biggest excitement today is my daughter’s birthday ( Felicity is 13 years old )

Happy Birthday my beautiful Girl!

Enhancing the Faith

Another Level of Contentment

I thought that I had found my fullest form of Contentment when  I finished writing my 1st book Finding the Balance but as it turns out I had only just stepped onto that path.  When I finished it I felt a certain level of contentment, the key word here is level, something I have come to understand and recognize after some time has passed.  When it comes to personal growth the period of time it takes is different for everyone because of our individuality and because we all learn in our own time.  What I should have considered is that with all areas of learning there are many levels and varying degrees and I had only thought I reached full contentment because I felt more empowered, engaged and aware.  Little did I know that there was much more, much better to come.

I now know that what I had experienced then was a level of contentment because I now feel that I have moved to another level.  The only way I can describe this level is – it feels to be an unshakable faith in myself, where I am, where I’m going and that all things will occur as they are destined to along the way.  This level of contentment reinforces my belief that everything (positive and negative) happens for a reason.  Both are meant to teach and bring us to a higher level of ourselves and without them we may remain stuck in a never ending cycle of frustration and confusion.

If I allow the little things to bother me along the way I am allowing my ego to inhibit my own growth cycle and that is not something I want to do in any way.  Of course there are still times when something I did not expect occurs but my reactive behavior to these unexpected occurrences is starting to adopt a more negotiable mind and I am approaching things from a far more relaxed state of being.   I’m not entirely sure if this is something that comes with age, experience, time or all of these but I welcome it because it’s providing me with such a unique, profound and irreplaceable  form of happiness.   Within this level I have also discovered a greater passion, a greater reason and a greater experience within my purpose.

Part of the change is my focus and where I am directing my attention to and where I’m taking it away from.  I’m directing more towards where I want to go, what I want to achieve, how I want to get there and what I want to project along the way.

I’m retracting it from the trivial areas, areas that my ego contributes to.  We all have an ego, the hardest thing to do, at times, is to keep that ego in check.  It can divert our minds into focusing on things that shouldn’t really bother us.  I think we’ve all had one of those days when we got dragged down to a level of communication and behavior that we later regret, that’s our ego winning the battle.  It can wreak havoc within our lives when we allow it to carry our thoughts away from the bigger picture.

This really is something that comes from within and I’ve found that in everything I do and commit to if my subconscious isn’t in it 100% then I won’t succeed.  I wish I could offer a “one size fits all” process that would help everyone to get to their own “greater meaning of their life”.  My own journey to has had its share of ups and downs along the way but knowing how far I’ve come and having faith that there is so much more on the way makes it entirely worth it.

There is a quiet strength and resilience hidden with the state of Contentment.  My personal peace and happiness have become the most important state of being that I covet.

It’s All Energy

Recognizing the energy in our Lives

Have you ever noticed how certain people can affect you?  It’s that moment when you realize how someone else’s energetic field is affecting your own, whether it’s a good or bad feeling, you’re still aware of its presence.

We are all energetic beings and like all forms of energy not all of them blend together.  When you’ve noticed that someone has “rubbed you the wrong way” or the opposite that “things just clicked” both of these are energetic effects.  We are all unique individuals and of course we are not all going to blend together as one, we need the different energies to provide balance.  Learning how to work with maintaining your own sense of balance is the key.

Similarly the LOA (Law of Attraction) is also a form of energy, it’s a state of being that is sustained by a certain energy.  When you are operating within that energy you will likely equate it to “the day just keeps getting better”.  It’s because that particular vibrational energy is in perfect alignment with your inner spirit, like finding your way home.  It’s that state of being that is the equivalent of the perfect vibrational energy.  I call it the perfect vibrational energy because, well let’s face it, if you’re at a point where you’re thinking that the day keeps getting better then you are having a pretty fantastic day and of course what wouldn’t be better than having a day, week or month full of fantastic days?

Unfortunately there are times when we aren’t feeling as uplifted as we’d like to and those fantastic days can seem so far away, sometimes so far away that it can feel like you won’t see one again.  It’s during these times that we are operating way outside of the “perfect vibrational energy” and if you’re like me it feels almost like having the flu.

When you’re down like this it leaves you wide open for negativity to find its way in.  Technically your spiritual immune system is down and once the negativity gets in it can find other avenues within to keep you occupied.  Negative thoughts that are not distinguished can grow and escalate to cause you much sorrow and pain and make you believe that the positive of hope and faith is not there or worse, lost!  It’s these times when you may need to remind yourself to believe.

It will require a lot more of your energy to fight your way through to find the light but when you get there it’s totally worth it.  There’s nothing as gratifying as the positive side of life, the “perfect vibrational energy”, it feeds your inner spirit with hope, love and faith.

As terrible as the negative energy is, we need it to be able to identify, appreciate and embrace the positive.  If they weren’t such polar opposites how else would we be able to recognize the difference?

Look for the good vibrations and pass on the positive!

Who’s Got Your Back?

Quality Friends are Priceless

It can be so difficult to maintain the energy needed to deflect negativity if you have to deal with such behaviours on a daily basis or on any basis.  When negativity comes into our space it doesn’t just thrust the negativity at us but sometimes it takes up residence for a day or two within us.  It’s hard to determine how it’s going to affect us because that all depends on our current disposition.   If you are stressed or overwhelmed you are already in a vulnerable position.

It’s a similar feeling to being tired and run down and someone with a cold comes near you, it’s harder to fight off those germs then if you were well rested and feeling strong.

It can be difficult to rally up a positive state of mind and being when you’re at this point but it is so important for your health, mind, body and spirit.

In addition to journaling I also talk with my closest friends that I trust when I feel at odds with either someone or a circumstance that I feel helpless in and they do the same with me.

When I feel I can’t find the answers I need or I feel the urge for a little extra boost of inspiration I always find it within my friends.  I don’t think they always know how they’ve helped but sometimes it takes that one moment of understanding or those compassionate words of wisdom in their own special way and they’ve set me off in an entirely new and positive direction.

As single moms, as women, we need our girlfriends to keep us sane, to keep us grounded, and to keep us real.  If you’ve got great friends there isn’t anything you can’t battle, overcome or defeat.

Quality friends are Priceless!

The “aha” Moment

Peace + Balance = Contentment

It took me so long to get to the point of Contentment, Peace and Balance.  Not because it was something that takes a long period of time to achieve but because it takes letting go and allowing those “aha” moments to shine through.  It’s amazing how when you follow the path of least resistance how much it opens the doors to what your life should be.

Everyone has had those “aha” moments, and I personally love them.  I wish every day contained one because I always feel so elated internally when it happens.  It was one of those “aha” moments that sparked me to write my book, all of a sudden all the pieces of the puzzle come together in that very moment and it’s exhilarating!

What follows those moments is peace, balance and ultimately contentment because you’ve solved one of your own life’s mysteries, of course there are many more along our life path to come.

Contentment comes in many different forms but I believe that it’s all about connecting.  When you connect with others on a soul level they can inspire you in ways you didn’t know were possible.

Contentment, for me, came from letting go of things I thought were important and trimming back to the basics.  In today’s busy, material world we become so enmeshed with all these “things” that we think we need but really they clutter our minds, our life and ultimately our Contentment.  I’m not saying have nothing, I’m saying have what brings you contentment.

When I am in a state of Contentment I find that I have gratitude and appreciation for all that surrounds me, everything is beautiful and wonderful.  I strive to make contentment a permanent fixture within my emotional psyche for all the days not just because it feels great but because it also feels great for everyone around me.  When we project contentment from the inside to outward we are spreading happiness with everyone we come into contact with.  Now this is an emotional “state of being” that is worth spreading around.

My favorite quote that I always strive to meet is one of the “states of being” that provide me with Contentment:

“To Laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.  This is to have succeeded.”  — Ralph Waldo Emerson
